I'm Dermot Ryan, an independent technology consultant living in the UK. I analysed details in airport architecture blueprints when 7 years old (1988). Taught myself computing and programming at 13 (1994), started my first business at 15 (1996), taught myself some A-level physics two years ahead of time at 16 (1997).
I wrote draft code for a recursive self-improving AI system at around 16 (1997) and researched building a system to send digital media over internet satellites at 20 (2001). I have a thorough understanding of many fields, especially technology. I invented a new engine, validated by the mathematics professor of fluid dynamics at one of the top universities on Earth (2005). I did technology consulting for numerous areas of a master plan design of 2 new state of the art cities to be built from scratch (2009). I'm a polymath, researching many diverse fields to cross pollinate them and create more than the sum of the parts. I like making things perfect where possible. Morality, ethics and compliance are important to me. |
